You or I may have to make an early appointment with our favorite stylist months ahead of time if we want to get in to see them. Or maybe you’re one such stylist, whose appointment book fills up weeks and weeks ahead of schedule.But would you imagine that Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, aka fashionista, aka top-level A-lister, would have to wait three months for her new hairstyle? Seems like if you get a call from a rep for Vicky B you squeeze her in.
Guess that wasn’t the case, as she was unable to get an appointment for a top NYC hairdresser for several months.
The former Spice Girl was determined to have her locks styled by Manhattan-based Garren, whose other clients include Madonna, Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman.
But she was forced to wait as her celebrity status failed to secure a place at the head of the line, in her quest for Garren’s apparently magical shears.
A spokeswoman for the hairdresser says, “I don’t know whether Victoria was happy to wait, but she did. And the result, as with Garren’s creations was truly sensational. If we made an exception for one celebrity, they’d all want to jump the queue.” Now, isn’t that the truth.
And the wait paid off, as VB was able to debut her new hairstyle during fashion week – which seems like the perfect setting!
